It Could Be You

Thousands of people want to make money online but the reason so many don’t - and stay complaining in the same humdrum job, getting deeper into debt - is because they don’t have the right mindset.

It has never been easier to do business with people all over the world. But you have to have the right mindset to make money online, as much as you do to make a business work offline.

So the very first step is to start thinking like a rich person – or a business owner rather than an employee.

That means that you will begin creating assets – things that put money into your pocket; rather than liabilities, which take money out.  

The best assets are the ones which put a lot of money into your pocket with very little input from you.

And the Internet can enable you to create assets quickly that will make money online while you do other things. 

In other words eventually you will not have to sell your time to earn money, as you do in a normal job where you are working for someone else (or even when you are working for yourself on behalf of clients).

When you create an asset (for example setting up a business or buying an investment property) the income should come to you automatically, whether or not you are physically involved. 

The most time-consuming part is the set-up phase when you will work hard to create an asset that will produce income.  

After this it should require minimum attention from you – so that you are free to do other things (like setting up another moneymaking machine!).

Making money from the Internet is no different. Think of it as your own business and strive to get the income stream coming in automatically.

Before the Internet it would take many years to build strong business systems. You needed to manufacture your products, build sturdy supply chains and then reach and convince customers. 

The costs could be massive: millions to produce product, millions to distribute it and millions to advertise it.

But leveraging the power of the Internet means you can set up a website (effectively your shop) using readily available tools and start marketing your website to a potential global audience in a matter of hours. 

Plus one of the added beauties of the Internet is that if you want to sell things you don’t even need your own products: you can sell other people's stuff.  This is called Affiliate Marketing. 

To make money online you simply choose a product and market it with a special link that specifies you as the seller if a sale is made.

Commission money is sent directly to you, while all the customer relations and shipping, if there is any, is handled by the producers of the product.

So if you can get the right mindset it is simple to make money.  Notice I said "simple" not easy. That means anyone learn how to do it. It does not mean there is no effort on your part.

As I said earlier you must have the right mindset (this in itself can take time to develop), then put in real effort and perseverance. 

If you do take the time to get your business model right, you really can create automatic streams of income.  And learning and doing more over time can lead to wealth you have only dreamed of.
